  General Terms and Conditions

A beginner's driving course consists of 20 lessons. Other courses can be arranged for 10 lessons 6, or single lessons with full theory support.

Fees must be paid in advance, one hours fee being held as a deposit, with at least five clear working days between the receipt of fee and the date of training.

In the event of a cancellation, for any reason, 48 hours notice must be given or the deposit is forfeit.

Pre-paid courses only will, from time to time, be subject to special discounts.

The training vehicle will be made available to pupils for their driving test subject to receipt of a fee equivalent to two driving lesson. We reserve the right to withhold this facility if, in our opinion, the pupil does not meet the required test standard.

Every effort will be made to ensure that the pupil is the only client in the car during the lesson. Pick up will be at the agreed location, on time plus or minus 15 minutes (depending on local traffic and weather conditions).

We cannot be held responsible for mechanical or electrical failure, illness or DSA test cancellations.

All driving lessons will be a full hour in length.

With a pre-paid 20 lesson course, we guarantee you passing your test the first time and this will then be followed by a free motorway lesson. If a pupil should not meet the required standard, we will pay for their second driving test.

  Intensive Terms and Conditions

If the training intensity is less than the hours or days below then the normal 'Terms and Conditions' will apply, otherwise the following is in addition :-

Intensive training is defined by TOTAL QUALITY MOTORING as short notice training or two hours a day for five consecutive days. Standard intensive training is up to five hours / day, with a 1hr break, for a minimum of four consecutive days. Both above are with the intention of arranging and taking the test the day after the training finishes. But, prior to booking any intensive training, a two hour assessment will be carried out to confirm suitability.

Confirmation of training must be received at least 6 weeks prior to first day of training, with a 10% non refundable deposit. Full payment must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the first day of training. If you do not use all course lessons you will receive a pro rata refund.

In the event of a cancellation after full payment, 30% of the total fee will be forfeit. These conditions are required as other contract work has to be deferred, or cancelled, other client pre booked lessons have to be moved, and pre arranged tests have to be rescheduled to accommodate your training.
